MEET THE TEAM

Càndida Carley – NNSS President, Project Director. Càndida has been a 13+ year Navajo reservation resident. She has been caring for the elderly professionally for more than 12 years in their homes, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities. Càndida also works at the ABQ VA Hospital where the majority of patient interactions are with our American senior Veterans.

Anthony Donahue – NNSS COO, Research Operations Director. Anthony has experience in domestic and international social projects. He has led civil affairs and nation-building campaigns in the Middle East and Mindanao, multiple state Area Agency on Aging projects, and a life science 501(c)(3). He is a researcher at Harvard Medical School and MassGeneral Hospital. Anthony’s drive and skill set has been invested in the enrichment of communities such as those on the Navajo reservation.

Evelyn Lopez – NNSS Board member, Project Coordinator. Pastors in this community and across the Navajo Nation. Evelyn has worked with the U.S. Census Bureau counting Navajo families across the reservation, taught at the local elementary school, and assists in voting services as a judge at the Ojo Encino Chapter house.

Anna Brown – NNSS Supporter, Logistics Coordinator. Anna has worked on the reservation for 20 years in schools and 10 years driving a school bus across the Navajo Nation and New Mexico. Anna currently works as the high school counselor at the local Cuba High School.

Jeanette Vice – NNSS Supporter, Project Collaborator. Jeanette has been advocating for making positive differences in her community’s development. Jeanette holds a position as the Council Delegate Legislation District Assistant covering eight Navajo Nation Communities, including the Ojo Encino Chapter Community.
